This August, gather the family for Tales Over Tea—a heartwarming Afternoon Tea storytelling experience set in Fortnum’s beautiful Drawing Room, within the iconic Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon at Piccadilly.

To celebrate Afternoon Tea Week, Executive Head of Pastry, Roger Pizey has created a joyful storytelling event that’s perfect for families. With select sessions running across two weeks, it’s an ideal morning, afternoon, or after-work treat to enjoy with your little ones. Enacted by the iconic Fortnum’s red-coat storytellers, these interactive performances will unfold before children move on to enjoy the Summer Children’s Afternoon Tea menu, as adults tuck into freshly baked scones.
 
Book in for the charming tale of Harriet the Hedgehog, whose seaside tea outing takes an unexpected turn when the once-a-year Fortnum’s Knickerbocker Glory sundae goes missing. With the help of the mischievous Rufus the Seagull, Harriet sets off on a delightful adventure to uncover the mystery and bring summer’s magic back.
