From 25th April this extraordinary, themed experience transforms the classic afternoon tea into a five-act sensory performance inspired by A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Amid fairy décor and bespoke crockery, each course evokes the magic and emotion of the play: from Thyme Roasted Chicken with Apricot Mayo to a Dark Chocolate Heart that captures love’s bittersweet twists. Taste the unexpected with Puck’s Mischief, a playful mocktail, and sip on the Elixir of Enchantment, a bespoke tea blend infused with green tea, mulberry, cranberry and lingonberry.

Outside, the hotel’s historic courtyard — home to the world’s longest Shakespearean frieze — sets the stage for your own midsummer dream.

Indian Jasmine Afternoon Tea

Jasmine Indian Afternoon Tea is also available, which evokes the rich traditions of the Indian dining culture with a bold and innovative twist on the traditional Afternoon Tea.

Enjoy a variety of sandwiches such as Minced mutton pinwheel in white bread and savoury Eastern dishes such as Aloo Bonda Mango Chutney Bun. Follow with the traditional Indian dessert Gulab Jamun and a selection of delicious cakes, scones and pastries, including Cheesecake Raspberry Sonpapri Floss and Saffron & Elaichi scones.
