Formerly an Eye Infirmary, Hotel du Vin Exeter has historic walled gardens and striking architecture, creating the backdrop for a special Afternoon Tea experience. 

The Champagne Afternoon Tea is the perfect combination of sweet and savoury, offering a range of classic finger sandwiches, scones and an assortment of classic cakes and desserts. Savouries include a chicken and tarragon Dijonnaise on pain d'epi and a Severn & Wye smoked salmon and chive cream cheese on a brioche roll served alongside plain and fruit scones. 

Indulge in a luxuriously sweet crème brûlée or a baked apple tarte tatin with crème Normandie (la servi froid - served cold). Mum can enjoy an extra, well-earned treat of indulgent chocolates. Accompanying these delights are a choice of teas and infusions, which Hotel du Vin have developed with Bird & Blend Teas, and of course a glass of chilled Champagne.
